November 24 I Wish You Were HereWish you were here Wish you were here... - Blackmore's Night - November 02 To my DadSamo za tebe tata, Just for you daddy
We have no choice of what color we're born or who our parents are or whether we're rich or poor. What we do have is some choice over what we make of our lives once we're here. Years wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. When our memories outweigh our dreams, we have grown old. However i still see those sparks in your eyes and dreams in your heart.
I wish you happy birthday, good health and may all your wishes come true. Ok, not exactly all of them. May you live 61 year more in good health and happiness. Thank you for patience and support that I get from you every day.
Jelena October 02 Angel came downAngel came down From heaven yesterday, Stayed with me just long enough To rescue me.... And she told me a story yesterday; About the sweet love Between the moon and the deep blue sea. Then she spread her wings high over me. She said,Ill come back again to see you tomorrow.... And I said fly on, my sweet angel. Fly on through the sky. Fly on, my sweet angel. Tomorrow Im gonna be by your side.... Sure enough, This woman came home to me. Silver wings silhouetted against a childs sunrise.... And my angel, She said unto me, today is the day for you to rise. Take my hand, youre gonna be my mind, And she took me high over yonder..... And I said fly on, my sweet angel. Fly on through the sky. Fly on, my sweet angel. Tomorrow Im gonna be by your side.... Jimi Hendrix September 06 Birthday partyAugust 22 Angel loves..Angel Loves Him Angel Loves Him, Nothing she can do. He came into her life, Making dreams come true. He plays with her imagination, To keep their world alive. How long does she think, She will be able to survive. She has never kissed his lips, Nor looked into his eyes. Never spent the night beside him, Or heard his loving sighs. She waits for the chance, That he may call. She sits and wonders, If he thinks of her at all. Soon the phone rings, All that she will hear, A message of...."I LoveYou." Softly spoken in her ear. He Loves Angel.... Nothing he can do. She came into his life, Making dreams come true. By: Christine McClimans I dont remember if I posted this song some time back but no harm is done when something beautiful as this is repeated. August 10 In the ocean of your eyesHello Friends,
After very long time i have heard this song again, it is sang by Jagjit Singh, very beautiful and touching Ghazal. Thought of sharing it with you. My good friend Sanjay Agrawal has translated it for me long time ago. So here it is.
Aapni aankho ke samundar mein
Apni Aankho Ke Samundar Mein Utar Jaane De,
Tera Mujrim Hoon Mujhe Doob Ke Mar Jaane De Ay Nayey Dosth Main Samjhoonga Tujhe Bhee Apna, Pehle Maazi Ka Koi Zakhm To Bhar Jaane De Aag Duniya Ki Lagayee Hui Bhuj Jayeygee, Koi Aansoo Mere Daaman Pe Bikhar Jaane De Zakhm Kitne Teri Chaahat Se Mile Hain Mujko, Sonchtaa Hoon Ki Kahoon Tujhse Magar Jaane De Here is the translation.
In the ocean of your eyes
Allow me to drown in the ocean of your eyes, I am your convict, permit to drown and die O new friend, I shall consider you mine, but first let the festering wounds of the boatman heal. The fires stoked by this world shall extinguish with time, Let some tear drops spread over my cloth I thought of telling you about the wounds inflicted upon me due to my love for you, but let it be.. July 13 SerenadeSERENADE by Edgar Allan Poe 1850 So sweet the hour, so calm the time, I feel it more than half a crime, When Nature sleeps and stars are mute, To mar the silence ev'n with lute. At rest on ocean's brilliant dyes An image of Elysium lies: Seven Pleiades entranced in Heaven, Form in the deep another seven: Endymion nodding from above Sees in the sea a second love. Within the valleys dim and brown, And on the spectral mountain's crown, The wearied light is dying down, And earth, and stars, and sea, and sky Are redolent of sleep, as I Am redolent of thee and thine Enthralling love, my Adeline. But list, O list,–so soft and low Thy lover's voice tonight shall flow, That, scarce awake, thy soul shall deem My words the music of a dream. Thus, while no single sound too rude Upon thy slumber shall intrude, Our thoughts, our souls–O God above! In every deed shall mingle, love.
Isn't it just beautiful? July 05 PoemHello friends, I have to thank Joyful Forester for song that he wrote as response to my “My Friend” blog entry. Here is the song and the translation. (I have to admit that I asked for help in translating song as I was just inpatient to do it my self…)
DO DIL JO DHADAKE EK SAATH DO ZUBAAN BOLE EK BAAT SOCHE DO LOG KUCHH EK SAATH NAZARE KUCHH DEKHE SAATH SAATH DEKHOO MAI PAIRO KE NISHAN JAATE DOOR TALAK EK SAATH.
Two hearts which beat together Two tongues (mouths) which speak the same thing Two people who think the same thing The eyes which see same thing together I see the signs of the footprints Going too far.. together...
![]() June 25 My FriendHELLO FRIENDS
Something very strange is happening to me, I have a friend to whom I talk every day. We tease a lot, rag and share happy and sad moments. Lately, well not lately almost from the beginning, it so happened that we say exactly the same thing to each other and at the same time. At first we didn’t notice it , but lately it started happening more and more often, and it was kind of uncanny to hear your words "echoing" from the other end, and what more, our actions it self became almost synchronised. I say, ok I will pick up the phone and call him and at same time I receive a call from him. Or I am sitting at my desk bored with myself and I think, let me check what he is upto, and at that exact moment he comes online “Hi”. Uncanny isn’t it? Moreover, it happened I think, three times in a row we said exactly the same thing to each other. Though we laughed about, it was strange. Now I would like to ask you spacers, has anything like this it happen to you. What was your reaction. This is something strange, isn't it?

The Lost City of the Incas
The Inca citadel of Machu Picchu in Peru is one of the world's most spectacular ruins. Houses, temples, staircases and agricultural terraces were built high among rugged and forested mountains with distant snow-covered Andean peaks providing a backdrop. Far below, the rapids of the Urubamba river loop round the site. ![]() The mysteries of Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu is a mysterious place built in a staggering landscape for reasons forgotten with the passing of the Inca empire. It is believed to have been constructed by the great ruler Pachacuti around the middle of the 15th century. The Spanish conquistadors never found the site, probably because it was abandoned before the conquest.
Long after being abandoned by the Incas and overgrown by dense forest, Machu Picchu was rediscovered in 1911 by the explorer and historian Hiram Bingham. Because the Incas left no written records, historians can only speculate on the purpose of Machu Picchu. Some believe that the dramatic location may have held geographical or astronomical significance to the Incas.
A view of now roofless buildings with dizzying peaks beyond. A bromeliad growing on an Inca wall. Inca stonework at Machu Picchu
The intriguing buildings and structures at Machu Picchu are testimonies to the skills of the Inca builders.
The Temple of the Three Windows includes large, beautifully-cut polygonal stones. The Intihuatana is a huge carved stone that occupies a high point in Machu Picchu. It may have been an astronomical calendar or used for mountain worship. No other civilization in the ancient world was able to cut and assemble stone blocks so perfectly. The purposes of many of the Inca constructions at Machu Picchu remain a mystery.
Many descendants of the Incas live in the Peru highlands. They keep alive traditions passed down by their ancestors who built Machu Picchu
